Introducing Brian Vaughan... Brian has acquired a wealth of experience in all artistic and technical aspects of movie and tv production, as a screenwriter and author, and as an actor both on stage and in movies and tv drama.  A keen horseman, Brian has owned horses since 1972, and ridden Western Pleasure, Cutting and Roping horses. He has competed in numerous Mechanical Bull Riding Competitions, coming as high as 5th out of 60, and in Bullock and Bull Riding Competitions came second in an aggregate held over two days with 60 riders participating. He featured in a 1993 Melbourne Cup photo spread, and his equestrian experience includes working six months as a strapper at the Jack Clayton Racing Stables at Hendra (Brisbane), and as a riding instructor/horse trainer at the Bit & Spur Riding Academy. His riding skills have also been demonstrated in several Film/TV Roles, the latest being in October 2004, appearing as a 6th Army Private in a Sparkes Films History production filmed at the Beenleigh Historical Village. |
